The brilliance of God is in the seed!!!
The genius of God is in the seed!!!
“A HIDDEN MIRACLE IN SCRIPTURE”
The seed is the Word of God, the fertile soil is the heart
The seed does the work – night and day, regardless of what you are doing…
You don’t do anything except plant the seed!!!
You are not actively working or doing anything in order for the seed to grow – the seed is doing the work in your life
The person doesn’t understand how it happens – it’s the genius of God!!
In the world, we try harder, work harder, keep pressing in
- I’m going to pray more, I’m going to believe more, I’m going to memorize more
The earth produces the crops on its own – the farmer doesn’t understand how
If you will get the truths of God’s Word in your heart – change is automatic
Your job is not to perform this, your job is to receive this
Churches are full of people who know the Word but don’t have a harvest in their life (Kevin translation – “know” – an intellectual or academic understanding, mental ascent, head knowledge)
Must get the Word into the heart and must be a doer of the Word, not just a hearer only
Jesus didn’t die so you could try harder, He came to set you free
SCRIPTURE
The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground, and should sleep by night and rise by day, and the seed should sprout and grow, he himself DOES NOT KNOW HOW. Mark 4:26–27
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Romans 12:2
While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, winter and summer, and day and night shall not cease. Genesis 8:22
As a man thinks in his heart, so is he. Proverbs 23:7
Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper. Psalm 1:1-3
Listen! Behold, a sower went out to sow. And it happened, as he sowed, that some seed FELL BY THE WAYSIDE; and the birds of the air came and devoured it. Some FELL ON STONY GROUND, where it did not have much earth; and immediately it sprang up because it had no depth of earth. But when the sun was up it was scorched, and because it had no root it withered away. And some seed FELL AMONG THORNS; and the thorns grew up and choked it, and it yielded no crop. But other seed fell on good ground and yielded a crop that sprang up, increased and produced: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred.” Mark 4:3-8
