Thought Conditioners – Health & Healing

Thought Conditioners - Health & Healing

Introduction
You must know it is God’s will to heal you. Until this fact is settled in your mind and spirit, you cannot approach healing without being double minded and wavering. The Scripture says the doubleminded man will receive nothing from the Lord (James 1:6-8).

The Word of God must abide in you concerning your healing. You have a covenant with God that includes divine health—every Christian does. The problem has been that most Christians do not know healing belongs to them.

The Holy Spirit, by the prophet Hosea, says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” (Hosea 4:6). In the realm of healing, this scripture has been literally fulfilled. Christians have allowed sickness and disease to destroy their bodies because they do not have the knowledge of God’s Word that it is God’s will for them to be healed. God’s Word says by His stripes we were healed (1 Peter 2:24).

Believers are being physically destroyed because they are ignorant of the Word concerning their healing.

God said, “I will take sickness away from the midst of thee….the number of thy days I will fulfil” (Exodus 23:25-26). He says in Psalm 91:16, “With long life will I satisfy him, and show him my salvation.” It’s not the will of God for you to die young. It is God’s will for you to live long on the earth without sickness in your midst and to live satisfied!

If you had been taught that it is God’s will to heal you in the same way that you have been taught it is God’s will for you to be saved, you would have a different attitude toward sickness. Jesus bore your sicknesses and carried your diseases at the same time and in the same manner that He bore your sins. You are just as free from sickness and disease as you are from sin.

You should be as quick to refuse sickness and disease in your body as you are to refuse sin.
It is God’s will for you to be healed, but your faith cannot operate beyond your knowledge of God’s Word.

Above All Things

Beloved, I pray that above all things you may prosper and be in health, just as your soul
prospers.  I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.  3 John 2

John realized that the prosperity of our whole lives, including the health of our bodies, hinged on the condition of our souls. John understood that what is in us controls what comes out of us and ultimately produces life’s experiences. He is telling us that as our soul prospers, our life prospers.

So many Christians wonder about God’s will when it comes to prosperity and health. It should be obvious to anyone who believes the Bible that John wouldn’t pray a prayer that was contrary to the will of God. Neither would he have said that he prayed this prayer above every other prayer if it weren’t so. If it weren’t God’s will for His people to prosper and live in health, the Holy Spirit would never have inspired John to believe it or record it as a part of holy Scripture.

The key to John’s prayer in 3 John 2 is the soul. Theologians refer to the soul as the mind, emotions and will.  Your soul controls, to a great degree, how you experience life. You will prosper and live in health even as your soul prospers, or you will struggle and be weak, even as your soul is weak.

Greater Works
Whether you’re praying for another’s healing or receiving your own, it’s available to every believer! Jesus gave every believer the power and authority to do the same works that He did. That’s quite a statement, but it’s absolutely true.

John 14:12 says, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believes on me, the works that
I shall he do also, and greater works than these shall he do, because I go unto my Father.

All believers can do the same works that Jesus did. It’s not just limited to ministers or preachers. With God, all things are possible!

God’s Prescription for Divine Health
There is a medicine so powerful it can cure every sickness and disease known to man. It has no dangerous side effects. It is safe even in massive doses. And when taken daily according to directions, it can prevent illness altogether and keep you in vibrant health.

Does that sound too good to be true? It’s not. I can testify to you by the Word of God and by my own experience that such a supernatural medicine exists. Even more importantly, it is available to you every moment of every day.

You don’t have to call your doctor to get it. You don’t even have to drive to the pharmacy. All you must do is reach for your Bible, open to Proverbs 4:20-24 and follow the instructions you find there:

“My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from
thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them,
and health (Hebrew: medicine) to all their flesh. Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it
are the issues of life. Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee.”

As simple as they might sound, those four verses contain the supernatural prescription to divine health. It’s a powerful prescription that will work for anyone who will put it to work.

If you have received healing by the laying on of hands, following this prescription will help you maintain that healing. If you have believed for healing, but are experiencing lingering symptoms, it will help you stand strong until you are completely symptom-free. And if you are healthy now, it will help you stay that way–not just for a day or a week, but for the rest of your life!

There is no limit to the amount of God’s medicine you can take. You cannot
get an overdose. The more you take, the more powerful you will become.

The Word of God Brings Health
God made you so that your physical and emotional health follows the way you think. If you’re thinking on depressing things, you’ll be depressed. If you’re thinking on the Lord and His Word, you’ll be full of life, joy, and peace.

God’s Word is…Life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.  (Proverbs 4:22)  The Word of God brings health. “He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.” (Psalm 107:20)

God’s prescription for health is His Word. Take it in daily doses, just
like medicine. Many people are praying for health, but they’re violating
the Great Physician’s instructions. They aren’t taking their medicine.

What if the medical doctor you saw about your condition prescribed to you a method of treatment—taking a certain pill each day—yet you didn’t take them. Then, you get upset at the doctor about your treatment, saying, “It’s no good. It didn’t work.” Actually, since you didn’t take the pills, you have no right to criticize the doctor. You didn’t cooperate with the prescribed treatment. The medical doctor gave you a treatment, but you didn’t follow it.

God has given us a treatment. He’s prescribed to us the Gos-pill (Gospel). He sent His Word to heal us and deliver us from all our destructions. (Ps. 107:20.) God’s Word is health to all our flesh and life to those who find it. (Prov. 4:22.) This is the Great Physician’s prescription.

If you expect to be well, you follow your doctor’s instructions, don’t you?

Well, this is God’s prescription. His Word is His medicine. If you will do
what He says as diligently as you would obey a doctor, you will get results.

God Has Already Spoken
When it comes to covenant issues like healing, we don’t even have to wait on God to speak to us.  He has already spoken!  He has already said, “…By [Jesus’] stripes ye were healed” (1 Peter 2:24). He has already said, “…I am the Lord that healeth thee” (Exodus 15:26). He has already said, “The prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up…” (James 5:15).

God has already done His part. So we must do ours. We must take the Word He has spoken, put it inside us and let it change us from the inside out.

You see, everything–including healing–starts inside you. Your future is literally stored up in your heart. As Jesus said, “A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things” (Matthew 12:35).

Receive What’s Already Been Given
Faith doesn’t move God. He doesn’t respond to what we do “in faith” and then move. By grace, God has already provided everything. The Lord doesn’t look at your praying, confessing, begging, fasting, and agreeing with others, and the other things you do as adding up to “enough” to make Him move. Those things aren’t like a pry bar that once enough pressure is applied—BOOM—you can make God’s power work. The Lord doesn’t respond to your faith!

Faith only appropriates what God has already provided by grace.
True faith, is simply a response to what God has already done.

God—by grace—has already healed everybody. He took upon Himself all of the sins and sicknesses of the entire world at the Cross. He’s already dealt with it. It’s a done deal. It’s over. That’s why 1 Peter 2:24 says, “By whose stripes ye were [past tense] healed.”  It’s already done. The Lord isn’t healing people today. He provided healing 2,000 years ago in the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ.

People are drawing on that healing by faith and receiving the manifestation
of it today. But God already did the necessary work to provide it a long time ago.

Healing was released, transmitted, and broadcast 2,000 years ago in the atonement of the Lord Jesus Christ. Once you’re born again, He places within you the same resurrection power that raised Jesus from the dead.

It’s no longer a matter of getting God to give you healing; He already has.
The issue is whether or not you will—by faith —reach out and take it!

When you need healing, God doesn’t even have to lift His little finger. People pray, “O God, put forth Your mighty hand.” Wrong! The Lord has already accomplished healing and placed it inside your born-again spirit. In order for healing to manifest, you must receive it. You don’t have to make God give it; you just have to receive in the physical realm what He’s already given you in the spirit.

Appropriate—by faith—what God has already provided by grace.

If you’ve been believing “God, I’ve done this, I’m doing that, and I’m confessing these things and waiting for You to heal me,” then that’s precisely the reason why you aren’t seeing healing manifest. It’s the wrong attitude! Instead, change your thinking and start saying, “Father, I thank You that You have already healed me. By Your stripes, I was healed. The same power that raised Jesus from the dead is already in me. By faith, I receive what You have already provided!”

The problem is that you are fighting to get healed instead of fighting because you’ve been
healed. You’re trying to obtain healing instead of defending the healing you already have.

Don’t fight to get healed; fight because you’ve been healed! Don’t fight in an attempt to
obtain healing; fight to defend the healing that’s already been provided for you in Christ!

 God Has Done His Part
All things are possible to those who believe. (Mark 9:23.) If you would understand and believe that God has already done His part, and then exercise your authority, you could make things happen.

I’ve come to realize that it’s not me petitioning and asking the Lord to heal people, but rather that God has already healed us of all sickness and disease. The Word says that by His stripes we were—past tense—healed. (1 Pet. 2:24.) Now I understand that God has put His power in me, and it’s up to me to release it. God has done His part, now I must take my authority, speak to the mountain, and command people to be healed. Of course, the individual I’m ministering to must believe and cooperate too, but I’ve seen hundreds of times more people healed than I used to.

John G. Lake and his practitioners knew that God had already done His part to provide healing and that it’s our turn now to take our authority and use it. Sometimes they would literally move in with the people and teach them the Word. They’d build them up in faith, minister to them, and see them healed because God has already done His part.

God has put His power in me, and it’s up to me to release it.

There’s a huge difference between us healing the sick and praying for the sick. As a whole, the church has believed God can heal, but not that He has already done it. They don’t believe that He has already committed the power and authority for healing to us. So when they have a need, they approach God like a beggar. They ask Him to heal so-and-so when the truth is that He’s already done His part to produce that healing.

God has placed supernatural raising-from-the-dead power on the inside of every born-again believer (Eph. 1:19-20), and it’s up to us to command those healings to come to pass. Instead of passively pleading with the Lord and asking God to do it, we need to become a commander—someone who stands up in faith, takes our authority in Christ, and commands the power of God.

The Power Has Been Provided
(Analogy of the electric company provides power but we have the authority to turn it on or off….)  Many Christians

today are praying and asking God to come over and flip their switch. They don’t realize that He’s placed that authority on the inside of them. They don’t recognize their responsibility to flip their own switch. They aren’t believing God’s Word which reveals that they now have the power, authority, and responsibility to go and heal the sick.

That power has already been generated and is now deposited on the inside of every born-again, Spirit filled, tongue-talking believer. You have that power. It’s not up to God to heal the sick. It’s up to us to believe, take our authority, release that power, and command these things to happen. We must give—minister—this healing power to other people.

You have the power on the inside of you and you can command healings to come to pass.

Instead of commanding and releasing this power that’s been given to them, they pray and ask God to heal the sick. That’s just as silly as asking the electric company to come over and turn on your lights!

You can’t give away something you don’t have. If you don’t believe that God has already done His part and put that raising-from-the-dead power on the inside of you, then you can’t go out and heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, or raise the dead. I wish I could just make people believe these truths, but I know I’m fighting against hundreds of years of religious traditions that have made the Word of God of none effect. (Mark 7:13.) God has already healed every person that will ever be healed.

This Confidence We Have
“I believe that God can heal, but I don’t believe that you can heal.” Of course, it’s God’s power and not mine, but He has given me the authority to use it.

Healing is a law—something He’s already done. Through the death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, God has already healed every person who will ever be healed. By the stripes Jesus took across His back two thousand years ago, we were—past tense—healed. (1 Pet. 2:24.) God isn’t healing people right now. He did His part a long time ago. The law was passed, and now healing belongs to us. Still, it’s up to us as believers to know what God’s will is and command it to come to pass.

Many Christians just don’t know what is rightfully theirs. Thinking they have to be sick, poor, and discouraged, they say, “This is just the way that it is. I can’t do anything about it.” They don’t know that Jesus Christ has redeemed us from these things.

He redeemed the whole man—righteousness for his nature, peace for his mind and healing for his body.

Redemption left nothing in force that came upon man because of sin.
Jesus completely destroyed the works of the devil in the lives of men.

Keep Thy Heart With All Diligence
“Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” (Prov. 4:22) The forces of life bring healing power. Out of your heart comes the force of faith to relieve you of any problem that Satan would try to bring on you.

Be diligent about keeping God’s Word in your heart. Continually attending to the Word with your ears, your eyes and your heart will cause you to live in divine health. The Word of God will continually be made life and health to your body.

“For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.” God’s words are spirit and they are life (John 6:63). They are made life and health to those that find them. The Word of God is medicine. If you will put the Word in your heart in abundance, it will be as hard for you to get sick as it was at one time for you to get healed. (The key to this statement is in the word ABUNDANCE!)

God’s prescription for life and health works constantly, whether you are sick or well.

The Word is continually being made life and health to your body.

Satan cannot make you sick when you stay strong in the Word, when you keep your spirit full of God’s Word. By keeping God’s Word in the midst of your heart, the healing power of God will continually work in your body. The Word is continually being made health to your flesh.

Don’t attend to the sickness. Attend to God’s Word. Whether you are sick or well, the Word is continually made life and health to your flesh. This is the surest way to stay healed. To be sick and then receive healing is not God’s best. God’s best is for you to live in divine health, to have divine life continually flowing from your spirit man to your physical man— keeping your physical body well.

Focus: Quantity & Quality
Where is your focus? If the doctor says you’re going to die, are you more dominated by his word or God’s Word? Are you imagining and anticipating sickness, disease, and death? Or are you focused on the scriptures that declare He’s taken away all your sickness and by His stripes you were healed of every disease? Are you centered in on the spirit or the flesh?

You can know whether you’re walking in the spirit or not by what your attention is on. “For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit” (Rom. 8:5). What you’re thinking about will tell you whether you’re in the flesh or in the spirit!

If your mind is stayed on the things of the flesh, then you’re in the flesh. You cannot please God, nor will you be able to succeed against this ailment. You’ll fail physically even though God’s healing and raising from-the-dead power is already inside your born again spirit. Whatever your mind focuses on determines whether you’re in the flesh or not. It’s really that simple!

Fleshly mindedness is death. “Carnal” literally means “of the five senses.” Carnal mindedness is being fleshly, physical, and outward minded instead of spiritually minded. It’s being dominated by your five senses.

If your body is facing sickness and you’re more in tune with and sensitive
to what you feel (flesh) than what you believe (Word), then you’re carnal.
To be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

God’s Word doesn’t make sense to the carnal mind.

Whose Report Will You Believe?
You need to get to where you believe God’s report more than the worlds! You’ve crossed over into the spirit when God’s Word dominates you more than what you can see, taste, hear, smell, and feel. Instead of letting the devil tell you what you can’t do or somebody else saying that you’ll die or your checkbook telling you you’re in deep trouble again, you focus your attention on what God says about you, what He says you have, and what He says you can do. Once you do that, you’ll find it’ll break the dominion, the power, and the control of the flesh over you.

I have experienced an incredible conflict between what I saw in my spirit through God’s Word and what I felt in my physical body.  My flesh and my spirit were fighting each other!  ……. I’m still in process, but I’m renewing my mind and winning the battle between my flesh and my spirit.

You have to put the Word of God in your heart until the reality of your healing has more power and more validity to you than the symptoms of sickness that are coming on your body. That revelation will only come from attending to God’s Word—keeping yourself in the Word of God and putting the Word in your heart in abundance. You can come to the place where the Word of God has more authority than what you can see or feel.

If you see or feel something that is opposite from the Word, you
will not be moved by it because you are moved only by God’s Word.

Faith Is the Bridge
God is a Spirit. (John 4:24.) When He moves, He does so in the spirit realm. When you ask for healing, God gives it to you in spiritual form inside your spirit the very instant you believe Him for it.

As a New Testament believer, you already have the same virtue, anointing, and power that raised Jesus Christ from the dead living inside of you. The moment you believe, God releases that power in your spirit. Therefore, you did receive. God did everything He’s going to do about your miracle the instant you prayed: He gave the command and released His power, and it’s a done deal!

“But I need it out here in my body!” Faith is the bridge from the spiritual realm into the physical realm. It’s how  what has already happened in the spirit transfers over into the natural. Faith gives substance to things hoped for and evidence—tangibility, physical proof—to something unseen. (Heb. 11:1.) Just because something is in an unseen realm doesn’t mean it’s nonexistent!

If you think the physical world—what you can see, taste, hear, smell, and feel—is the only realm of reality there is, you’ll argue, “I hurt, so I don’t care what you say! I’d be a liar to confess that God has healed me when I’m still in pain and have this rash, tumor, or whatever. You’re just one of those ‘name it and claim it,’ ‘blab it and grab it’ guys, trying to ‘make it so.’” The truth is, there really is a spiritual realm; and there’s a real spiritual you!

The spiritual world is the parent force. (Col. 1:16; Heb. 11:3.) It created everything you see and will still be in existence long after this physical world is gone. (2 Cor. 4:18.) It’s not wrong to acknowledge that there are things beyond what your five natural senses can detect.

There are spiritual entities—angels, demons, and the Holy Spirit—right where you are! There’s a reality within you—your spirit—that you can’t come into contact with through your five senses. You just have to believe God’s Word, which says, “When you pray, you receive.” If you start feeling in your body or looking in the mirror to see, “Well, did it happen?” you’ll miss it. Your healing comes in the spiritual world. How does it get from the supernatural to the natural? By somebody believing!

Declare by faith, “Even though I can’t see it, I know God’s Word says when I pray, believe that I receive the answer right now, and then it will (future tense) manifest. (Mark 11:24.) So I believe God did it. In the spirit realm there’s tremendous activity and power being released. The virtue of God is flowing through me right now. I haven’t seen it yet, but I know it’s there.” Then, make your answer manifest by putting these laws into motion. Start speaking to things and commanding them to work.

We praised God that it was already accomplished, saying, “Thank You, Father, that You have done it. Right now, it’s ours!” Her foot still looked bad, so I turned to it and commanded, “Foot, I speak to you in the name of Jesus.” I was drawing out the healing that Jamie had already received in her spirit.

There are things you can do that draw out the supernatural power of God already present in the spiritual well within you!

Use your words to speak life instead of death. (Prov. 18:21.) Direct them specifically toward your problem. (Mark 11:23.) Jesus Himself answered the fig tree. (Mark 11:14.)

Our Brains Are Voice Activated
Speak to your body; it’ll respond to you! Scientists have discovered a part of your brain that’s voice-activated. If you say, “I’m tired,” they found that your brain will hear it and tell your body to prepare for a rest. You’ll become more tired as you talk “tired.” If you say, “Man, I feel good!” that same part of the brain will start sending endorphins through your body to energize you. The scientific community is just now discovering what God has said all along!

Use your words to command pain to leave! You can speak to your body and make it recover. I’ve commanded toothaches to leave and my eyesight to work. After we spoke to it, the rash all over my friend’s hands left. Don’t just automatically turn to a pill; speak to your body!

This is how the kingdom works! We’ve made it too hard, praying, “Oh God, here’s my need. If You love me, do something!” When nothing happens, we become bitter at God and wonder, “Why haven’t You done anything?”

God has given you the authority, but you’re ignorant of how to use it. The anointing is already inside you to heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, and raise the dead. If you aren’t seeing it manifest, it’s not God’s giver that’s broken, but your receiver that needs to be turned on and tuned in. Get into the Word and then use it to speak to your mountain!

God Gave Us Power and Authority
You may wonder, Well, if it’s God’s will for us to be healed, then why did this person die? God gave us the power to heal.  It’s not our power. It’s His power, but it’s under our authority. Jesus never told us to pray and ask God to heal people. He told us to go and “heal the sick” (Matt. 10:8).

In the Gospels, Jesus never commanded His disciples to pray for the sick, but He did command us to heal the sick. (Luke 9:2; 10:9.) The way it’s being done in the church today, we basically pray, “Oh Father, we know that You can heal this person. If it’s Your will, please—pretty please—do it.”

We come as beggars, asking. And if we don’t see something manifest, if we don’t see an instant result, then we wonder, why didn’t God heal them? No, God has already released all the healing power it takes for every person on this planet to be healed of every sickness and disease. Jesus took the stripes on His back for our healing, and now He’s given us the power to heal the sick. He gave us power and authority over ALL demons to cast them out and cure diseases. Jesus gave that power to us, and it’s up to us to use it.

It’s become fashionable for us to say, “Oh, it’s not me. I couldn’t heal a gnat.” Well, the truth is none of us can heal a gnat in our own human power. But we aren’t only human, we’re born again! God gave us power and authority—the right and ability to use that power.

Most believers today will pray for the sick, then conclude, “if it be God’s will.” It doesn’t take much
faith to pray that way because it puts the onus on God. It takes a different level of faith to confront
a demon and/or infirmity with the truth of God’s Word and be confident about the outcome.

Such As I Have
In Acts 3, Peter never even prayed a prayer.  Most people would think that was terrible. How dare him heal someone without praying and asking God! I don’t know about you, but I’m after results—and Peter got the right results. His approach to this situation is the proper approach. Peter said, “Such as I have, give I unto you.” Peter knew he had power. He knew he had the authority to use that power. So he took responsibility and used that power. Because of it, that man was healed.

This is the very reason many people aren’t seeing healing today. They’re coming to God and begging Him. They don’t understand that the power doesn’t reside in heaven. God has placed the power to heal on the inside of every born-again believer. He’s also given us the authority to use it, which makes us responsible. If someone isn’t healed, it’s not God who didn’t heal them—it’s us not using our authority and power.

We need to understand and recognize that it’s not God’s turn to heal. It’s our turn to believe that He’s already healed. We must accept that power, take that authority, and use it. We need to speak to our problems and command things to change.

Receive Your Healing
Jesus commanded us in Matthew 10:8 to “heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, [and] cast out devils.” We confidently instruct people not to “pray” for the sick, but to heal them. There’s a huge difference between healing the sick and just praying for them!

God has already done His part.
Jesus Christ has already completed everything necessary to save and heal every person.

You believed and received salvation.  Healing comes the exact same way! It shouldn’t be any harder to receive your healing since He provided it at the same time as forgiveness for your sin.

The question isn’t, “Will God save you?” but “Will you accept His salvation?” The gift has been given, but will you receive it?  It’s the same with everything else in the Christian life! God has already healed, prospered, and delivered you. Yet most people beg and plead, attempting to manipulate and control God through prayer. Their underlying attitude is “How do I make God do something He’s unwilling to do?” That’s totally wrong!

Prayer is not trying to twist God’s arm to make Him do something.
Prayer is receiving by faith what He has already done!

God desires all believers to be so familiar with His love that our approach toward Him is bold. (Heb. 4:16.) He yearns for His children to believe that all the provision they need has already been made. They just have to reach out in faith and take it. “Father, thank You! I receive my healing. I take my prosperity. I love You, Father!” You aren’t making God do something. You just know in your heart that He’s already supplied, so you reach out and receive it.

The Lord Didn’t Ask For Anything Twice
He believed and received it the first time. The second time, He took His spiritual power and authority and used it. If the devil withstood one dose, surely he wouldn’t withstand two! So Jesus prayed again and the man saw clearly.

That’s how our prayer ministers pray in our meetings. We don’t just ask God for healing and then smile at you, saying, “Depart in peace. Be warmed and filled!” No, we ask if you’ve received the full manifestation. “Is your pain gone? Are you able to move?” If you don’t have full manifestation, we begin taking authority, speaking to the affected parts of your body, and commanding them to work. Although we don’t see every single individual healed, most people do receive their full manifestation of healing. Glory to God!

Seeking God is more important than seeking healing. God created us to have fellowship with him.
An intimate relationship with God is vitally important for all Christians who may be experiencing sickness.

Reap What You Sow
When something, like healing, is promised to you in the Word, take your place of authority as a believer and say, “This is a law of God, so I command my body to respond. In the name of Jesus, I am commanding what God has already done to manifest.” But you have to know what has been promised.

It’s not God who is letting people be sick. He’s already provided for the healing of every single
person.  The problem is we’re ignorant of His provision and His laws governing how to receive it.

You may wish to enjoy good health, but if you’re committing sexual immorality shacking up with anybody and everybody, through those actions you are putting a law into effect, the law of sowing and reaping (Gal. 6:7-8), and faith for good health is dead without accompanying works (James 2:17). You can’t just pray for something, and then act in a contrary way. That’s not how the kingdom works.

God’s probably in heaven scratching His head and thinking, Now wait a minute. Doesn’t 1 Peter 2:24 say that by My stripes you were (past tense) healed? It’s already done! I’ve already placed the same power that raised Christ from the dead inside you. (Eph. 1:19-21.) If God could be confused, I believe He would be, saying, “I know I already gave this to them, but here they are asking Me for it.” That’s not the way to approach God!

Commanders, Not Beggars
It’ll definitely change the way you pray! You’ll stop begging God and saying, “O Lord, I’m nothing. I have nothing, but I believe that You can do anything. Come and move!”

Instead, a bold New Testament attitude will cause you to say, “In myself, I am nothing. I don’t have any virtue or worth based on my own human ability. But I’m in covenant with You, Father. I am a brand-new creature, and in my born-again spirit, I have the same power that raised Jesus from the dead. You said in Your Word that whomever I lay my hands on will be healed—and I believe it!” Then you’ll get up, take your authority, and start commanding and releasing God’s power.

Peter said, “Such as I have.” It wasn’t his own human strength he was referring to, but God’s raising-from-the dead power within his born-again spirit. Most churches today would kick you out for saying something like that. They’d argue, “You can’t do anything!” Of course not—in your physical self. But in the real you—your born-again spirit—you’ve been given the resurrection life of God!

No longer will you beg God saying, “The doctor told me I’m going to die, and I can’t do anything about it. O God, please heal me!” and then just sit there as a helpless nothing pleading with the Lord to do something. Praying like that shows that you don’t yet have the revelation that the same power that raised Jesus Christ is now living on the inside of you. This understanding will change you from being a murmurer, complainer, whiner, and griper into a believer who takes his authority, stands, and demands Satan not to steal what God has given. It’s a totally different attitude!

This understanding will transform you into a commander.

Pray according to God’s Word, understanding who you are and what you have in Christ. Don’t start petitioning Him from a place of unbelief, opposite the Word, saying, “Lord, I’m sick. There’s nothing good in my life. I’m lifeless.” Instead say, “Father, I thank You that I do have resurrection life inside of me. The doctor says I’m dying. There’s disease working in my body, so I’m drawing out your life which is in me. I thank You that it’s done. Now, I take my authority and speak. I command sickness to leave and healing to manifest, in Jesus’ name.” That’s the proper attitude. You’ve already been quickened!

“You Command Me!”
Peter didn’t even pray a prayer to ask God to heal that man at the temple gate. He just said, “Such as I have, I give it to you!” How could he do that? Peter knew that God had already done it. He understood that God’s healing power had already been released. The Lamb had been slain, and the perfect sacrifice had already been made. God—by grace—had already produced healing. Peter didn’t wonder, will the Lord heal him? because he knew in his heart that God had already done it.  The only question today is, “Are you ready to believe and receive?”

When you understand grace—that God has already done everything—you’ll become bold and authoritative. You can literally command the power of God to come into manifestation because you aren’t commanding God Himself to go and do something. Instead, you’re commanding what He has already done to manifest in the physical realm.

When you understand how grace and faith work together, you’ll
become a commander instead of a beggar. The difference is huge!

You can’t force God to do anything that He hasn’t—by grace—already done.

God has already provided everything you need by grace—but it’s at your command. Faith positively responds to what God has already done and appropriates it. Faith reaches over into the spiritual realm and draws what God has already supplied, out into the physical realm. If you understand this, it’ll revolutionize your life!

Excuses, Excuses
Most people are asking God to do for them what He’s already done. They’re pleading with Him to give them what He’s already given. Then, after praying this way in unbelief, they wonder why they aren’t seeing the physical manifestation of their healing. Since they think the Lord can do anything He desires, they wonder, Why isn’t He healing me? If God wanted me well, He could heal me right now! So they come up with all kinds of excuses like, “God is perfecting me through this trial.” Wrong!

The same is true of every other salvation benefit, including healing. It’s already been provided. At the cross, Jesus bore all your sicknesses, diseases, and infirmities at the same time as He bore all your sin. You don’t have to wonder, Will God heal me? Like forgiveness, healing is a done deal! It’s just a matter of whether you can reach out by faith and receive. If you can get this attitude that healing has already been done, it will manifest.

Healing is a Part of Our Salvation
Jesus provided for physical healing as well as forgiveness of sins. The Greek word “Sozo,” often translated “save,” is translated “made whole” in reference to physical healing in Matthew 9:22; Mark 5:34; and Luke 8:48. But the word Sozo applies to healing, as well as deliverance and forgive of sins. It applies to everything Jesus made available through the atonement, taking the sins of the whole world into His own body on the cross.

Jesus bore our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins,
should live unto righteousness, by whose stripes you were healed. (1 Peter 2:24)

Every sin, sickness, and disease of the entire human race – every deformity, tumor, and perversion – entered into the physical body of the Lord Jesus Christ. That’s why His face looked worse than any other person who has ever lived, and His form became so distorted that He didn’t even look human (Isaiah 52:14). He became sin so we could become the righteousness of God (2 Corinthians 5:21), and healing is made available because of the atonement.

James 5:15 says, “the prayer of faith shall save (Sozo) the sick.” Many scriptures mentioned the healing of our bodies in conjunction with the forgiveness of our sins (Psalm 103:3; Isaiah 53:4 – 6; and 1 Peter 2:24).

Healing is a part of our salvation just as much as the forgiveness of sins.

Redirected Faith
(Story of Niki Ochinski healing from a serious health disorder…..)  All I did was redirect her faith! Niki had thought that “faith” was something she did, and sooner or later God would respond and grant healing. I simply told her, “No, that’s not Bible faith. You must believe that God has already done it. Then—by faith—reach over into the spirit realm and take what’s rightfully yours!” Healing manifested just as soon as Niki received the revelation!

I’m no longer asking God to heal me; I am receiving my healing, which He has already provided.

When I pray for people, I’m no longer asking God to heal them. Instead, I’m ministering healing. I’m giving them healing—the same healing virtue that God has placed in me!”

God’s Word is Seed
In the parable of the sower, Jesus teaches that the Word of God is the seed and the hearts of men are the ground (Mark 4:14-20). The faith seed of the Word concerning your healing must be planted in your heart before you can successfully reap the healing harvest.

Even if you believe in healing, without the healing seed from God’s Word planted in your heart, you have nothing in the ground to produce the harvest. You have no real basis for faith.

If you’ll take God’s Word like a seed, and begin to plant it in your
heart, it will literally begin to release supernatural healing into your life.

God sent His Word and healed them and delivered them from their destructions. (Psalm 107:20)

God’s Word is life to those that find them, and health to all their flesh.  (Proverbs 4:22)

God’s Word will bring healing and deliverance to you.  So many people are missing this truth big time.

In His Word, God declares that by His stripes, you were healed (1 Pet. 2:24). You look at yourself and ask, “Is that cancerous tumor gone?” Still feeling pain, emotionally drained, and fearful, you continue, “God says I’m healed, but I’m not. It’s still there, so I must not be healed.”

By adopting that attitude, you’ve allowed your five senses to dominate you more than God’s Word. The same power that raised Jesus from the dead is in you, but you don’t believe it (Eph. 1:18-20). You let your mind be controlled by what it senses in the physical realm more than what it believes in the spiritual realm. Therefore, even though you have the resurrection life of God in your spirit, it won’t manifest in the physical realm because you’re carnally minded, which equals death.

The Name Above Every Name
“Oh God, the doctor told me that I’m going to die! I remember this same condition killed Aunt Suzie. It’s so bad!” That kind of “praying” just discourages you. It builds up fear and depression. What if you prayed more like this? “Father, thank You that Your name is above every name. Cancer has a name. AIDS has a name. These things the doctor told me are in my body have names. You are above them all! Thank You that You are greater, stronger, and more powerful than all of this!”

Spend another five or ten minutes just praising Him for His greatness, then by the time you’re ready to put your request in, it’d be more like, “Father, this is so small in comparison to what You’re able to do. I shouldn’t even have to ask, but the doctor did say that I’m going to die. So since Jesus has already provided my healing, I’ll just receive it!” Then go back to praising and worshiping Him. In light of who God is, nothing is really that big of a problem.

If the Lord didn’t need our cooperation to see His
power manifest, there’d be zero sickness on earth today.

Nobody would wear eyeglasses, suffer allergies, or even endure a cold. God is so willing to meet all of our needs that He’s already done it. He’s trying to get His healing to you. He’s trying to bless every last one of us!

The Holy Spirit doesn’t move independent of people. He told believers to go out and
heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, and cast out demons. Instead of doing
what He’s commanded us to do, we’re asking God to do what He told us to do. God
has already released His power. It’s in us. Now we must release His power to others.

“Who Touched Me?”
Most people think that when you approach God for healing (or anything else) that He evaluates you to see if you’re worthy. They think that once you make your petition, God measures how worthy you are—whether you’ve been good enough, moral enough, paid your tithes, fasted long enough, have enough other people praying for you, and if your situation is desperate enough.

Then, based on His personal evaluation, He either releases His power and you get healed, or He retains His power and says, “Nope, you haven’t prayed enough, you aren’t holy enough, you haven’t fasted enough, and/or you have this sin in your life and until you deal with it I won’t heal you.” People tend to view God this way, that He’s up there in heaven evaluating us and then, depending on His analysis, He either releases His power or not.

These scriptures in Mark 5 (woman with the issue of blood) completely kill this misconception. Jesus didn’t know who this woman was. He didn’t see her coming. She touched the hem of His garment. He perceived the outflow of power, but then asked, “Who touched Me?” Jesus honestly didn’t know who had touched Him. Therefore, He didn’t evaluate her to see if she was worthy or not. This shows that the power of God flows under law.

When you tap into these spiritual laws, the power of God just flows. The Lord
doesn’t size up one person, saying, “You’re worthy. I’m going to release My
power to you,” and then looks over another, saying, “No, you aren’t worthy.”

It’s not like that at all. There are laws that govern how the power of God works. When you cooperate with those laws and put them into effect, the power flows. If you don’t, the power doesn’t flow. It’s nothing about God loving one person more than another. It’s just a matter of law. God established His kingdom to operate under spiritual laws. As believers, we need to find out what those laws are and cooperate with them.

It’s not God who isn’t healing or blessing you. It’s not the Lord who has “willed” that
you suffer.  God has created laws, but you need to discover what they are. As you learn
how to cooperate with and enforce these laws, you’ll see God’s provision for you manifest.

Spiritual Laws Must Be Obeyed
God’s Word promises your recovery, but not that it’ll manifest instantly. Mark 16:18 declares, “They shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” However, this idea that “If God wanted to, I could be healed and these symptoms would leave immediately!” cannot be verified by Scripture. Many things govern how quickly
you experience your healing.

If you receive prayer and don’t see instantaneous results, resist the temptation to think, Well, nothing happened! Even though you still feel weak, the junk could be totally kicked out of your system! Much is happening below the surface that you cannot see. If you try to use only your five senses to discern whether or not He’s moved, you’ll miss out on the things of God!

……the results weren’t visible until twelve hours later. Sometimes it takes time for what God has already accomplished to manifest itself in the physical realm.

This happened through faith in God. Faith is a powerful force, but you must believe in order to reap its benefits.

Faith is governed by law. (Rom. 3:27) Just like the natural realm, the spirit realm operates according to God’s divinely instituted order. Ignorance asks, “Why didn’t God help this person? Why did He let them die?”

Healing, deliverance, prosperity, and salvation don’t “just happen.”
Spiritual laws must be obeyed in order to receive the desired results.

“Well, I prayed!” But did you pray correctly? “I don’t know if I did it all right, but if God wanted to He could just heal me!” They don’t think there are any restraints on God. Granted, the restraints are self-imposed, but they’re restraints nonetheless. God follows His own laws!

God controls Himself and the universe He created by the laws He spoke into existence. These laws govern how He works.  “My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.” Psalm 89:34

“If it’s God, then they’d just be healed.” That’s someone who doesn’t understand that there
are spiritual laws and we’re just barely beginning to scratch the surface of understanding
how things work. It can take time, not because God has problems, but because I’m having a
problem or the person receiving is having a problem. None of us understand everything yet.

It’s Not Personal!
(There are laws that govern how electricity flows. It’s not personal…..) That’s the way it is with God. The Lord isn’t healing one and refusing another. There are laws that govern how His power works. We can violate those laws and miss out on the blessings He’s already given us, or we can learn what the laws are, cooperate with them, and experience the abundant life He’s provided. It’s up to us.

Even though electricity has been on the earth since God created it, men had to discover the laws that governed it before they could use it.  Many things we do today could have been done long before, had it not been for our ignorance!

Another Law is This: You Will Have What You Speak
A man’s belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled. Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.  Proverbs 18:20,21

Life and death are in the power of the tongue. You will have what you say! (Matt. 12:34; Mark 11:23; James 3:2-12.)

Many people desire to be healed but speak forth all kinds of negative things. They say what the doctor told them, what their body feels like, what other people’s opinions are, and then wonder why they aren’t seeing God’s healing power manifest in their life. Spiritual laws are in place and functioning!

Speak to Your Mountain
Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. Mark 11:24

When Jesus prayed over the fig tree, there was never any type of petition or request made to God. (Mark 11:14.) Instead, He called taking His authority, believing, and speaking to the problem “prayer.”

The purpose of prayer is not to inform “poor, misinformed” God! Your heavenly Father already knows what you need. (Matt. 6:8.) Telling Him what the doctor said, how bad you feel, and that dear old Aunt Suzie died of it is counterproductive. Don’t just sit there griping and complaining; the Lord’s already done it! By His stripes, you were healed! (1 Pet. 2:24.)

You’re probably wondering, “If God has already healed me in the spiritual realm, then how do I pray to see that healing manifest here in the physical realm where I need it?”

First of all, enter His gates with thanksgiving. (Ps. 100:4) Begin to praise and magnify Him for the fact that it’s already done. This builds your faith and encourages you. Say, “Father, I thank You that by Jesus’ stripes I was healed. I receive it now by faith!”

Then turn to whatever the issue is in your body and talk to it. Don’t just speak to God about it.

Praise the Lord for what His Word says He’s already done and then speak directly to your problem.

……then I trained Mary how to minister to herself using Mark 11:23. I told her, “If another pain comes back, it’s not that God didn’t heal you. It’s the devil knocking on your door to see if you’ll open it back up again. If you say, ‘Oh no, I wasn’t healed’ or ‘I lost my healing’ then you open the door and Satan will come back in. But if you say, ‘No! By His stripes, I was healed. The gifts and callings of God are without repentance. I command this pain to leave!’ You’ll retain your healing and everything will be just fine.”

…….“You didn’t do what I told you to do.” “What’s that?” “You didn’t speak to your mountain. You talked to God and praised Him. What you said was good, but you didn’t do what the Word told you to do.”  The Bible says, “Speak to those problems!”

It doesn’t matter what your intentions are. There are laws that govern how things work. God said, “Speak to your mountain!” and we don’t do it. Then we wonder why we aren’t healed.

You have faith, but it needs to be directed. Use it in cooperation with the laws that govern how it works. Resist the devil. Talk directly to him. Speak to your problem and command it to change. Direct your faith with your words.

If the problem is pain, speak to it, saying, “Pain, in the name of Jesus, I command you to leave my body. Whatever is causing this pain, I speak to this part of my body and command it to respond so this thing can stop in the name of Jesus.” Talk to it!

Since starting to apply this principle more deliberately in the past five years, I’ve probably seen four times as many instant manifestations of healing as before. It’s a real simple principle!

Many people just don’t understand that Jesus laid down spiritual laws. They say, “Well, if God loved me, He would just heal me.” No, it doesn’t work that way. You receive according to your faith!

You must cooperate with God’s spiritual laws governing faith in order to receive.

Do what the Word says! When you pray, praise God that your problem has been taken care of. Then, exercise your authority and speak directly to the problem. If you don’t, you won’t see your desired results. Like it or not, that’s just the way it works!

Speak directly to the problem. God has already done everything about healing that He’s ever going
to do. Don’t just pray for someone who’s sick and then passively wait for something to happen.

Take control and make them manifest healing! You may say, “You can’t do that!” Yes, you can!

That’s how we’re praying, and good things are happening. It’s up to you when your healing manifests!

Keep Praying Until Manifestation!
When I minister healing to someone, I’ll pray for them two, three, four, or more times. I don’t care! I’m willing to pray for them until I rub all the hair off of their head! However, I’m not going back to God and saying, “Father, it didn’t work the first time. Let it work now, please!” No! I believe it happened because God is faithful. He gave, but something’s wrong with our receiver. So I work on it. If the devil withstands one dose of the Holy Spirit, I’ll shoot him again! Just like Jesus did with the blind man of Bethsaida (Mark 8:22-26), I pray until I see the answer manifest!

You need to get this attitude that God is faithful and He’s already met your
need before you ever had it. Boldness, confidence, and faith will rise in your
heart as you realize that God’s supply is always greater than your need!

I started praying, “Father, we thank You that You are exalted above every name. AIDS has a name. AIDS, you bow the knee to the name of Jesus!” Right then, I sensed that her faith had quickened. So I continued, “AIDS, you are nothing but a loser! You have no power, no might, and no dominion!” In this manner, both my faith and the faith of the person I’m praying for is strengthened. Then, by speaking to the situation and releasing God’s power, I’ve seen thousands of instant manifestations!

Another lady received prayer for her two swollen feet. One returned to normal and the other stayed swollen. Some wonder, “Why didn’t God heal them both?” He did! It’s just that she only received healing in one of them. What do you do then? Keep praying until the other healing manifests. If you can move the devil an inch, you can move him a mile—an inch at a time if you must!

Proclaim And Demonstrate
Jesus told us to heal the sick and preach the kingdom of God. However, so much of the church has just chosen to ignore the first part of our commission. Proclamation and demonstration should always go hand in hand. God’s Word needs to be confirmed with signs, wonders, and miracles. The Spirit-filled side of the church desires to see miracles and healings, but the way so many of them are going about it is to beg and plead with God, saying, “Oh God, I ask You to pour out Your Spirit. Do a new thing, and send revival.”

The Lord told us to go heal the sick. He didn’t tell us to pray and ask Him to heal the sick.
Jesus told us to do it. God is the power source, but He’s placed that power on the inside of
He gave us the authority to use His name and His power. If we don’t command healing
to come, it won’t happen. It’s not going to come by us begging and asking God to heal.

His Power, Our Authority
Perhaps you know someone who has an incurable disease. You’ve been praying and asking God to heal them. You’ve been trying to lay hold of God for healing, and you haven’t seen the manifestation yet. You’re fighting fear, doubt, and frustration. You need to recognize that you’re asking God to do what He asked you to do. God told you to go heal the sick. He told you to give—minister—His healing power. Just like Peter and John, you need to take your authority and command healing to manifest.

It’s His power, but it’s our authority (which He gave us) that
makes it work. God’s power is released as we use our authority.

These are God’s laws. Yet, people aren’t doing what the Word says and they wonder why hasn’t God healed me yet? That’s just as foolish as a woman who prays constantly to get pregnant without having any relationship with a man, and then when nothing happens, says, “Why hasn’t God given me a child yet?” God gave us power and authority in this area.

We Need To Cooperate
If we don’t step out in faith to cooperate with God in these areas, they won’t come to pass. This is so simple that you’d have to have somebody help you to misunderstand it. Yet, we’ve had a lot of help. I’ve talked to many people who have asked, “If God is really God, then He could have healed this person. Why did He let them die?”

God isn’t like that. He doesn’t just say, “Alright, you have power to heal. You go out and heal the sick.” Then—if we aren’t doing it because we don’t know how or because we’re more dominated by unbelief than faith—God doesn’t just look down and say, “These folks are never going to get the job done. Since they’re not believing My Word or doing it the way I said, I’m just going to heal this person anyway.” That would violate His own integrity.

God told us, “we have the power. We are to go out. We are to heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead.” (Matt. 10:8.) If we don’t do our part, God isn’t going to step in and do what He’s told us to do. No amount of begging or pleading will change that situation. We in the body of Christ need to discover what God has given to us.

God Has Already Moved
Confession doesn’t make God move. You’re wrong if you think reciting “By His stripes I am healed” 599 times will force God to heal you. You can’t make God do anything! Faith doesn’t move Him. God—by grace—has already moved as much as He’s going to. He’s already provided everything. Your need was abundantly supplied before you even had it. Since the Lord has already done it, you confess God’s Word to encourage your own heart and to drive off the devil. It might take you confessing that Word 599 times before you actually believe (Rom. 10:17), but God’s not the one who needs to move; He already has.

Confession moves you into faith and the devil out of the way so your manifestation can come. (Rev. 12:11.)

You need to study the Word, fellowship with believers, and do good things, but not in order to move God. He’s already moved, but you recognize that you must—by faith —reach over into the spiritual realm and receive.

Attending church, reading the Word, and listening to good Bible
teaching doesn’t cause God to move in your life; they help your faith!

A person who’s genuinely operating in faith confesses what God has already done in the spirit. That’s how someone can declare, “By His stripes, I was healed. I’ve already been healed. Thank You, Jesus!” when her body is wracked with pain and other symptoms. She’s not just “fakin’ it ’til she makes it.” As she continues to believe, what’s true in the spirit will eventually manifest itself in the physical realm.

In the spirit, God has already healed you. He’s already commanded His blessing upon you. You’ve been given joy, peace, and love. All of these things, and so much more, are in you in abundance—in your born-again spirit.

Before you see these things on the outside (physically manifest),
you must see them on the inside (with the eyes of your heart)

Earnest Action
It’s a law of God that “faith without works is dead” (James 2:20). This woman with the issue of blood acted on her faith. She didn’t just speak about being healed. She acted on that faith even at great personal risk.  This woman was probably on her hands and knees, crawling through this mass of people.

Why is that important? It illustrates another law of faith—earnestness.  “And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart” (Jer. 29:13).

You can’t receive the things of God by just passively seeking them.

As long as you can live without your healing, you will. But when you get aggressive, like this woman, where you are willing to risk even your own life in order to receive, you will.

Baptized in Unbelief
People think God heals in mysterious ways. If He wants someone healed—BOOM—they are! If there’s any delay or problem, or if they have to stand in faith speaking to and rebuking something, they wonder, “Why didn’t it work?”

God is using imperfect people. We’d all see greater and quicker manifestations if we weren’t so full of unbelief! It’s a miracle we see anything happen while bathing our minds in murder, adultery, and homosexuality for entertainment” and listening to the (bad) “news” each day. We’re baptized in unbelief!

As you begin to understand, believe, and practice some of these things, your results will greatly improve!

Many people don’t understand that we’re living in a world that has demonic opposition. They think that if God wants something done, He can just do it. Things don’t work automatically just because they’re God’s will and you prayed for it!

God is greater than the devil, but Satan can hinder Him if a
physical person cooperates and gives the enemy authority to do so.

The issue could very well be the the person you are praying for and how they truly believed in their heart. Just because someone sounds and looks like they’re in faith to receive healing doesn’t mean they really are.

Jesus Healed Them All
There were 19 different cases of Jesus healing individuals in the New Testament. In 12 out of the 19, the scriptures refer to the individual’s faith. For instance, to the woman with the issue of blood Jesus said, “Thy faith hath made thee whole” (Mark 5:34).

She drew on that healing power and Jesus knew when it left Him. Your faith is important when you are being prayed for. You come to receive healing in your body, not just to have hands laid on you. Your faith is what draws the power of God into your body or circumstances. You receive according to your faith. Faith activates the power of God.

Faith activates the healing power of God in your body. Faith gives action to healing power. When you say, “I believe I receive healing for my body from the top of my head to the soles of my feet,” you are activating the healing power of God. The woman with the issue of blood said, “If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole” (Mark 5:28). She said it, she did it and she received it.

God Is Always Constant!
You don’t always know what’s going on inside someone else’s heart. For you to take responsibility and say, “I prayed and believed, but God didn’t answer. If it was truly His will to heal, then they would’ve been healed!” is to claim knowledge and ability you don’t have. You don’t always know what’s truly going on. However, God is always constant!

According to His Word—which is all we can base our lives on—God declares, “By His stripes we were healed” (1 Pet. 2:24). He would have all to be healed of their sickness and disease. That’s what the Bible teaches. You must go by what the Word says!

The variable isn’t God; it’s the devil! God answered both of Daniel’s prayers instantly, but Satan opposed and delayed the answer from manifesting the second time.

Some Christians have more faith in the devil than they do in God! You need to know that Satan blows it lots of times. Why didn’t he fight the prayer in Daniel 9? He probably missed it!

God Is Faithful
When ministering healing, you need to realize that the person you’re praying for plays a large role in whether or not they receive.  You can’t take responsibility for them, but you can be a positive part of the process. Even Jesus couldn’t override someone else’s unbelief. (Mark 6:5,6.)

Faith works by knowledge of the Word. God has already healed every person. When
you ask and believe, the power is instantly released. If you don’t see it manifest, it’s
not God who hasn’t given. Either you haven’t yet received, or there’s a demonic
obstacle preventing the manifestation. God is faithful! Believe it and never move off of it!

You let doctors do procedures, treatments, and operations to you that last hours, days, and weeks and cost hundreds and thousands of dollars, but if you ask God for healing and it doesn’t happen by the time you hit the floor at the altar, then He failed?

God says He will heal all our diseases, but most Christians believe what a doctor says more than what God says! Now, I don’t mean we shouldn’t go to doctors, but the point is, we need to get serious about the power of God’s truth.

Believe It’s Done
If you can understand this, it’ll make a difference in the way you receive from God. If the manifestation doesn’t come right away when I pray for healing now, I don’t say, “God, I don’t know why You haven’t healed me, or this other person, yet. But we’re asking You to move!” I don’t start fasting and recruiting other people to bombard heaven with me to plead with God and make Him do it. That whole mindset is unbelief. You didn’t believe that you received when you prayed.

“What things so ever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them” (Mark 11:24).

You must believe you receive the very instant you pray, not when you see it. How can you believe God answered your prayer if you don’t feel healed right away? The moment you prayed— BOOM—it’s already done in the spirit. Your answer is a reality in the spiritual world.

If it doesn’t manifest, don’t doubt that God has done what His Word said He did! Believe that you received when you prayed. Then continue to pray, not asking for it again, but taking your authority and using it against any demonic powers hindering your answer from coming to pass. Ask God for revelation if there’s something you’re supposed to do.

Don’t doubt that God moved and already did it! God has already provided
everything you need. It’s already in the spiritual world. You just need to believe it’s done.

Faith reaches over into the spirit realm and brings those things into physical manifestation.

….we haven’t seen it manifest, but it’s not because God hasn’t healed him. It’s not because we’re waiting on God to do something. It’s because we’re having trouble getting it from the spiritual realm into the physical. It’s our fault, not God’s!

Confused
Many people wonder, why weren’t they healed? I know there was faith present! I’ve seen people who loved God with all their heart and were facing death with joy, yet had an expectancy and an anticipation that they’d see physical healing manifest. But still they died. Even though faith is intangible, you can tell if it’s present or not when you’re seeking God. When you recognize that faith is present but you see different results than what the Word of God promises, it can cause a tremendous amount of confusion.

Your faith is sufficient. Jesus Himself said that even a mustard seed of faith can uproot a tree or move a mighty mountain. Therefore, your faith is more than enough to see a healing, cast out a demon, or anything else.

Most Christians don’t receive what God has already supplied because of unbelief, not lack of faith.

These are two opposite situations. If someone doesn’t believe, of course they won’t receive. Faith is the bridge that brings God’s provision from the spiritual world over into the physical world. Faith must be present, but it’s not that big of a deal. It’s not hard. As Christians, we have the supernatural faith of God. It’s just that most believers haven’t yet realized or dealt with their unbelief.

What is unbelief? It could be fear, worry, or care. If the doctor tells you you’re going to die and you start trying to believe God by confessing, “Jesus, I believe that by Your stripes I’ve been healed,” but in your mind you’re still worried, that’s being double-minded.

Double-minded people won’t receive anything from the Lord. (James 1:7, 8.)

Faith is Discernible
I know when I’m in faith. The first time I ever said, “I know I’m operating in faith and I can heal the sick!” was in 1976. In my heart, I knew it. Even though I don’t always walk in that realm, I know how to get there. I’ll start praising and thanking God until my faith is quickened.

Once I know my faith is quickened and I truly believe it’s already done in the spirit realm, I take that faith and speak to whatever needs to be spoken to: my body, my finances, demons, etc. Then I use praise to still the enemy. Drawing on everything God’s ever shown me, I keep blasting the devil and my situation until I see results.

It’s not unbelief for me to continue praying this way about something. I believed God did it the very instant I asked. I received His answer when I prayed, but I’m not willing to let it stay there in the spirit realm. I make it manifest in the physical world where I need it!

Positioned to Receive
God has already done everything to heal everyone. It’s not a matter of asking the Lord to heal, but rather our receiving the healing He’s already given. That’s the basic principle, but there are laws that govern how it works. You have to speak. So I talk to the specific parts of people’s bodies and command them to respond. I take authority over the devil. Sometimes I do things to quicken the other person’s faith.

I don’t do all of these things to manipulate God but to help people move into a position to receive.

The Power of the Spoken Word
You can’t talk the same way you used to talk before you came to Christ. You can’t walk around saying, “Well, I can’t afford it, I don’t have time, I’m so tired, my back hurts so bad; it’s killing me. If my back doesn’t kill me, this migraine headache will bury me. And if that doesn’t do me in, my asthma, bursitis or ulcer will get me.”

Why can’t you talk like that? Because Proverbs 18:21 says, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue.” When God declares a thing, it frames the universe around Him, and God wants His children to talk like He talks.

Your Words and Your Health
What about your health? What if you always say things like, “My back is killing me. And my migraine, it seems to be worse today. Oh, and let me tell you about my asthma—man, is it acting up. It’s October, and my asthma always acts up. In November, my bursitis and my arthritis start flaring up. It does every year. And you know, in December, I always get those winter colds.”

When you speak as if sickness is a normal part of your life, it will be.

If you look in the medicine cabinet of people who speak like that, you’ll see that they look like a drugstore. Why? Because those people believe daily for sickness. They frame their world with sickness. They expect sickness, so they confess sickness. When they walk into their offices, they start framing their offices with their sickness: “Man, I had a tough week, and a headache knocked me out. Then my back went out.” And someone else will get in on it. “I know what you’re saying. I can relate to that. I got some of these new pills. You ever tried these?”

But if that same office worker knew the power of words, he would show up for work saying, “I just want you all to know I’m healed, from the top of my head to the soles of my feet. I just want you all to know I’m feeling good. I’m blessed. I think I’ll just go ahead and live healthy for about 120 years.”

And as soon as those words came out of his mouth, the others in the office would grumble and say, “What in the world is wrong with you?” Why? Because it really ticks the devil’s crowd off when you frame your world with positive words that are in alignment with God’s Word. Now isn’t it sad that if you confess your pains, you’re normal. But if you confess your health, you’re weird.

When you’re a new creation in Christ, you need to talk like the new you! You need to start talking words like: “He Himself bore my sins on the tree that I might die unto sin and live unto righteousness, for by His stripes I have been healed! (1 Peter 2:24.) I’m healed and I’m whole, in the name of Jesus. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me! (Phil. 4:13.) With long life He satisfies me and lets me behold His salvation! (Ps. 91:16.) I have time to do everything I want to do and live like I want to live.”

Victory for the believer comes in knowing and choosing God’s truth.

“Blessed is the man who finds wisdom, the man who gains understanding, for she is more profitable than silver and yields better returns than gold. She is more precious than rubies, nothing you desire can compare with her. Long life is in her right hand, in her left hand are riches and honor.”
Proverbs 3:13 – 16
