Daily Prayer

Dear heavenly Father,
I praise you and honor you as my Lord and Savior. You are in control of all things. I thank you that you are always with me and will never leave me nor forsake me. You are the only all-powerful and all wise God. You are kind and loving in all your ways. I love you and thank you that I am united with Jesus and spiritually alive in him.

I choose not to love the world or the things in the world and have crucified the flesh and all its passions. Thank you for the life I now have in Christ. I ask you to fill me with the Holy Spirit so I can be guided by you and not carry out the desires of the flesh. I declare my total dependence upon you, and I take my stand against Satan and all his lying ways. I choose to believe the truths in your word despite what my feelings may say.

I refuse to be discouraged. You are the God of all hope. Nothing is too difficult for you. I am confident that you will supply all my needs as I seek to live according to your word. I thank you that I can be content and live a responsible life through Christ, who strengthens me.

I now take my stand against Satan and command him and all his evil spirits to depart from me. I choose to put on the full armor of God so I may be able to stand firm against all the devil’s schemes. I submit my body as a living and holy sacrifice to you, and I choose to renew my mind by your living word. By so doing I will be able to prove that your will is good, acceptable, and perfect for me.

Thank you Father God for creating me. I know that I am an individual miracle of yours and you have a great plan for my life. Thank you for the authority that we have as believers in Christ Jesus and the victory that we enjoy in every area of our life through you.

In the name of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ I pray.
Amen!

INSTRUCTIONS
Read aloud the “Daily Prayer” and “Who I Am In Christ” as well as the “Declarations of Truth” scripture affirmations. Carefully consider what you are professing. You may want to proclaim one script in the morning, one mid-day and the other in the evening. Read these statements out loud every day for at least six weeks, which will increasingly allow your mind to be renewed by the truth. This daily discipline and time commitment is a small price to pay in order to renew your mind and realize your freedom in Christ (Gal. 5:1)

Victory for the believer comes in knowing and choosing God’s truth.

“Blessed is the man who finds wisdom, the man who gains understanding, for she is more profitable than silver and yields better returns than gold. She is more precious than rubies, nothing you desire can compare with her. Long life is in her right hand, in her left hand are riches and honor.”
Proverbs 3:13 – 16
