Freedom from Generational Bondage

Father God,
I come before You in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.  I thank You that You are holy, just, and merciful. I thank You that through the blood of Jesus, I can come boldly to your throne room of grace! I stand forgiven and accepted as one of your children, an heir of God and a joint-heir with Christ Jesus!

Father, Your Word says that Christ redeemed me from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for me (Galatians 3:13). Therefore, I declare that I am redeemed! I am not under a curse — I am under grace.  I am free in every area of my life and who Christ sets free is free indeed!

Father, I confess any sins in my life that have opened doors of opportunity to the enemy that have resulted in bondage. I ask You to search my heart and reveal anything that is not pleasing to You. I repent of it now. Cleanse me and wash me in the blood of Jesus.

I also bring before You the sins and patterns that have operated in my family line — whether addiction, confusion, anger, immorality, fear, pride, control, poverty mindset, or any other stronghold. I do not accuse my ancestors, but I make the decision right now not to continue in these behaviors, sins or curses. 

In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I bind any and all generational influences in my life that are not from You!!

Jesus, You are my Lord. My identity comes from You alone!!

I declare that the old has passed away and I am a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17). Sin has absolutely no authority or dominion over me (Romans 6:14). Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom — and Your Spirit lives in me (2 Corinthians 3:17).  For my God has not given me a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and a sound mind!  (2 Timothy 1:7)

I bind any influence that is not from the Holy Spirit and command it to flee now in the name of Jesus! I submit myself to God and resist the devil, and he must flee according to James 4:7!

In the name of Jesus, I renounce every sinful pattern and every lie that has tried to attach itself to my identity. I break free from fear and doubt. I break free from addiction. I break free from guilt and shame.

I break free from every generational sin or curse or pattern that is not from God!

Father, I ask You now to fill every place in me that was once wounded or bound with Your Holy Spirit. I replace old patterns with new obedience. I replace fear with peace. I replace shame with righteousness.  I replace confusion with Your wisdom.

I declare that me and my household will serve the Lord (Joshua 24:15). A new legacy begins with me. Your goodness and mercy will flow through my life into future generations.

Thank You Father that I belong to You!  Thank you that I am royalty!  Thank you that I am a king’s kid, an individual miracle of Yours!  Thank You that I am experiencing freedom in every area of my life! Thank You that I am blessed to be a blessing and everything I put my hands to prospers and succeeds!  Thank you that whom Christ sets free is free indeed!

Declarations – Freedom from Generational Bondage
In Christ, I am not in spiritual bondage to my ancestry.  I stand on the truth of God’s Word that says:

“Christ has redeemed me from the curse of the law!” (Gal. 3:13)

“If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation!” (2 Cor. 5:17)

“The son shall not bear the guilt of the father!” (Ezek. 18:20)

Identity & Redemption

• I declare that Jesus Christ became a curse for me, and I am redeemed from every curse through His blood! (Galatians 3:13).
• I am a new creation in Christ; old things have passed away, and all things have become new! (2 Corinthians 5:17).
• I belong to God. I have been bought with a price! (1 Corinthians 6:20).
• I have been transferred out of the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of God’s dear Son! Thank you Jesus!! (Colossians 1:13).

Breaking Agreement with Sin Patterns

• In the name of Jesus, I renounce every sinful pattern that has operated in my family line. They have no legal right to continue in me and I command them to cease and desist right now! (Romans 6:6).
• Sin has absolutely no dominion over me, for I am under grace! (Romans 6:14).
• Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom — and the Spirit of the Lord lives in me! (2 Corinthians 3:17).
• I choose to serve and obey God, and I bind and break agreement with every lie of the enemy! (James 4:7).

Authority in Christ

• I submit myself to God and resist the devil; therefore he must flee from me now, in Jesus name! (James 4:7).
• I have authority to trample on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy! (Luke 10:19).
• I proclaim that no weapon formed against me shall prosper! (Isaiah 54:17).
• I take the shield of faith and I quench every firey dart from the enemy! (Eph 6:16)
• I have world overcoming faith residing on the inside of me for greater is He who lives in me than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

Blessing Over Your Future

• The Lord’s blessing is upon me and my household (Psalm 112:1–2).
• As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord (Joshua 24:15).
• I am establishing a new legacy of righteousness, faith, and obedience for future generations (Psalm 103:17–18).
• God’s mercy is to a thousand generations of those who love Him (Exodus 20:6).
