God Wants Us To Prosper

Beloved, I pray above all things that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers  3 John 2

Let them shout for joy and be glad, who favor my righteous cause; and let them say continually, “Let the Lord be magnified, who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.”  Psalm 35:27

The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.   John 10:10

God Doesn’t Mind Us Owning Nice Things

Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who delights greatly in His commandments. His descendants will be mighty on earth; the generation of the upright will be blessed. Wealth and riches shall be in his house, and his righteousness endures forever.  Psalm 112:1-3

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.  James 1:17

And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.   Deuteronomy 8:18

The Lord was with him; he prospered wherever he went.  2 Kings 18:7

Seek God First

As long as he sought the Lord, God made him prosper.  2 Chronicles 26:5

Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.  Mathew 6:33

The young lions lack and suffer hunger; but those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.  Psalm 34:10

If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land.  Isaiah 1:19

If they obey and serve Him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.  But if they do not obey, they shall perish by the sword, and they shall die without knowledge.  Job 36:11-12

Believe in the Lord your God, so shall you be established; believe His prophets, so shall you prosper. (2 Chronicles 20:20)

And in every work that he began in the service of the house of God, in the law and in the commandment, to seek his God, he did it with all his heart. So he prospered.  2 Chronicles 31:21

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.  Hebrews 11:6

He who trusts in the Lord will prosper.  He who trusts in himself is a fool, but he who walks in wisdom is kept safe.  Proverbs 28:25

Keep the Word First, Meditate the Word

This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.  Joshua 1:8

Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law does he meditate day and night. He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.  Psalm 1:1-3
