Renewing Our Mind to God’s Word

Do you want to receive wisdom from God?

If you do, you should constantly store up God’s  supernatural Word in your mind and your heart.

Here are some scriptures that examine the vital importance of meditating on the Word and renewing our minds to achieve transformation:

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.   Romans 12:2

Though our outer man is progressively wasting away, yet our inner self is being progressively renewed day after day.  2 Corinthians 4:16

Put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts,  and be renewed in the spirit of your mind,  and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.  Ephesians 4:22-24

Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.  I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.  3 John 2

Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on His law he meditates day and night.    He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.  Psalm 1:1-2

Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who delights greatly in His commandments. His descendants will be mighty on the earth; the generation of the upright will be blessed. Wealth and riches shall be in his house, and his righteousness endures forever.  Psalm 112:1-3

This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall read and meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do [everything] in accordance with all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Joshua 1:8

The sower sows the word….. the word that was sown in their hearts.  Mark 4:14 & 15

If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.  John 15:7

If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.  John 8:31-32

So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.   Isaiah 55:11

Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.   2 Timothy 2:15

Casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.  2 Corinthians 10:5

Let the Word spoken by Christ the Messiah have its home in your hearts and minds and dwell in you in all its richness.  Colossians 3:16

My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart, for they will prolong your life many years and bring you prosperity.  Proverbs 3:1

My son, pay attention to what I say, listen closely to my words.  Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart, for they are life to those who find them and health to a man’s whole body.  Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life.  Proverbs 4:20-23

 For these commands are a lamp, this teaching is a light, and the corrections of discipline are the way to life.  Proverbs 6:20-23

 My son, keep my words, lay up within you my commandments, for use when needed, and treasure them.  Proverbs 7:1

 Choose my instruction instead of silver, knowledge rather than choice gold, for wisdom is more precious than rubies, and nothing you desire can compare with her.  Proverbs 8:10-11

 Wise men store up knowledge in mind and heart. Proverbs 10:14

As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.  Proverbs 23:7

Hear, my son, and be wise, and direct your mind in the way of the Lord.  Proverbs 23:19

The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul; the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.   Psalm 19:7

I have hidden your Word in my heart that I might not sin against you.  Psalm 119:11

If your law had not been my delight, then I would have perished in my affliction  Psalm 119:92

Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my pathPsalm 119:105

 The entrance of Your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple.  Psalm 119:130

Great peace have those who love Your law, and nothing causes them to stumble.  Psalm 119:165

I am alert and active, watching over My Word to perform it.  Jeremiah 1:12

Therefore, keep the Words of this covenant, and do them, that you may prosper in all that you do.  Deuteronomy 29:9

Be careful to follow every command I am giving you today, so that you may live and increase and may enter and possess the land the Lord promised on oath to your ancestors.  Observe the commands of the Lord your God, walking in obedience to him and revering him.  For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land.   Deuteronomy 8

We also thank God continually for this, that when you received the message of God which you heard from us, you welcomed it not as the word of mere men, but as it truly is, the Word of God, which is effectually at work in you who believe exercising its superhuman power in those who adhere to and trust in and rely on it  1 Thessalonians 2:13 AMP

 The law of the LORD is perfect, reviving the soul; the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple; the precepts of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes; the fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever; the rules of the LORD are true, and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, even much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and drippings of the honeycomb. Moreover, by them is your servant warned; in keeping them there is great reward.  Psalm 19:7-11

Victory for the believer comes in knowing and choosing God’s truth.

“Blessed is the man who finds wisdom, the man who gains understanding, for she is more profitable than silver and yields better returns than gold. She is more precious than rubies, nothing you desire can compare with her. Long life is in her right hand, in her left hand are riches and honor.”
